Born on March 28, 1953, John Kenneth “J.K.” McKay is a former American football player, trial attorney, and executive who has worked for the Alliance of American Football and the University of Southern California.
McKay had a professional sports career from 1976-1978, during which time he was a wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL.
McKay received a 38-yard touchdown pass from his closest buddy and quarterback Pat Haden in the fourth quarter of the 1975 Rose Bowl game, among many other highlights during his collegiate football career at USC, where he was a member of the 1972 and 1974 National Championship teams.
Along with Haden, he was honoured as the game’s most valuable player.
