What Time is Women’s 100m Final?

The 2022 World Track & Field Championships will be broadcast in its entirety on all of NBCUniversal’s TV channels and digital properties. For the first time ever, the United States will host the outdoor championships, which will take place at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, from July 15th through the 24th.

The men’s and women’s 100-meter dash finals (July 16-17), as well as the 4×100-meter and 4×400-meter relays, will be featured in NBC Sports’ 43-hour live coverage from Eugene (July 23-24). See below for more information on the additional television coverage that will run on USA Network and CNBC (channel finder here).

Elaine Thompson-Herah, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, and Shericka Jackson, all of Jamaica, are among the favourites to win the women’s 100-meter dash. These three athletes swept the podium at the Tokyo Olympics. In Tokyo, Thompson-Herah won both the 100 and 200 metre events, while Fraser-Pryce is aiming for her fifth global 100 metre crown.

After taking first place in both the 100- and 200-meter events in the Jamaican Championships last month, Jackson is a potential spoiler. Melissa Jefferson will be in charge of the American forces. The star from Coastal Carolina University ran the 100-meter dash in 10.69 seconds, defeating a strong field at the USATF Outdoor Championships.

The schedule and broadcast information for this year’s competition to determine the world’s fastest woman are provided below.

Three U.S. citizens will be competing in this. U.S. Olympian Aleia Hobbs, who ran on the 4x100m relay squad in Tokyo, will join Melissa Jefferson on the team. U.S. squad completion comes courtesy of Twanisha Terry, who placed third at the USATF Outdoor Championships.

All three of them were faster than Sha’Carri Richardson, who finished fifth in her preliminary heat at the national championships after posting a time of 11.31 seconds.
