The song features soaring harmonies, an uplifting message, and Beyoncé’s signature powerhouse vocals.

In October, when the King Richard teaser was unveiled, the Williams sisters first teased the debut of their unexpected new song.

Beyoncé’s original song “Spirit,” included in the live-action The Lion King remake, was widely seen as a strong contender for an Oscar nomination in 2020. Unfortunately, she was ignored.

She is now up against Van Morrison (“Down to Joy,” “Belfast”), Diane Warren (“Somehow You Do,” “Four Good Days”), Lin-Manuel Miranda (“Dos Oruguitas,” “Encanto”), Billie Eilish and Finneas (“No Time to Die,” “No Time to Die”), and others for an Academy Award.

On March 27th, 2022, the Academy Awards will be presented.
